5.  Product Category
 
 
i Core Products  
Space rent for standard built up Exhibit space for the respective sizes for Core Products would be as follows:
  Standard Built up Exhibit Space Fee
  3 X 3 meter Rs. 75,000/-
  6 X 3 meter Rs. 150,000/-
  6 X 6 meter Rs. 300,000/-
  Any other larger size Shall be calculated on the basis of per sqm rate for the product category
  Schedule of Core Products Attached as Annexure “A” to this application
 
   
 
ii Developmental Products and other products:
Space rent for standard built up Exhibit space for the respective sizes for Developmental Products and other products not falling in Core Products would be as follows:
  Standard Built up Exhibit Space Fee
  3 X 3 meter Rs. 50,000/-
  6 X 3 meter Rs. 100,000/-
  6 X 6 meter Rs. 200,000/-
  Any other larger size Shall be calculated on the basis of per sqm rate for the product category
  Schedule of Developmental Products and other products attached as Annexure “B” to this application
   
 
 
iii Space rent for Women Entrepreneurs
Women Entrepreneurs shall pay 15% of the standard rate, applicable to the respective product category. They shall be required to present a documentary evidence regarding ownership of the firm along with a certification from FPCCI or the concerned Trade Association registered with Ministry of Commerce.
     
  i 10% of the space rent by the Exhibitor to be paid with the application form in the form of pay order/ demand draft in favour of “Expo Sponsorships/ Stall Fee etc A/C” National Bank of Pakistan, FTC Branch.
     
  ii Remaining 90% of the space rent payable by the Exhibitor to be paid within 7 working days upon the receipt of confirmation of stall allocated to the applicant by the Exhibition Committee.
(NOTE: The exhibitors will not be allowed to display any other product category other than the category they have chosen from sub-clauses I & II of Sub –Para A above)
     
6.  Violation of Rules & Regulations and Withdrawal by Exhibitor
 
   
  Without prejudice to the rights and remedies of the Exhibition Committee in respect of any violation of the rules & regulation on the part of the Exhibitor the Expo 2006 Secretariat with the approval of Chairman Exhibition Committee may at their discretion allow the Exhibitor to withdraw from the Exhibition subject to the following conditions:
 
     
  a. The Exhibitor must give written notice 30 days prior to Expo 2006 to the Exhibition Committee that he/ she desires to withdraw and if the Exhibition Committee allows such withdrawal, they will notify the Exhibitor of their decision in writing within 7 working days. Any amount paid or payable to Export Promotion Bureau through Expo 2006 Secretariat shall not be refundable or condonable respectively.
     
  b. In case of any violation of rules and regulations any payment or payables to the Export Promotion Bureau through Expo 2006 Secretariat shall not be refunded or condoned respectively.
     
  c. At any time should the Exhibitor fail to observe or comply with any of the terms and conditions contained herein or if the Exhibitor shall fail to pay any of the unit costs at the time and in the manner aforesaid, then the Exhibition Committee with approval of the Chairman Exhibition Committee may thereupon by written notice given to the Exhibitor cancel the allocation of exhibit space.
     
  d. Upon the Exhibition Committee exercising its right as per clause (c) above to cancel the allocation, it may but are not obliged to, with the approval of the Chairman Exhibition Committee, re-let or otherwise deal with the exhibition space contracted by the Exhibitor in default, on such conditions as the Exhibition Committee shall deem fit. In the event the Exhibition Committee having elected to, but not able to, re-let the said Exhibition space, the Exhibitor in default shall be liable to pay the entire space rent or the differential shortfall, to the Expo 2006 Secretariat, as liquidated damages for the loss of rental.
     
7.  Construction and Decoration of Stand
   
  Exhibitors will be allowed to decorate their stall as per schedule notified by the Exhibition Committee or any delegated person/ organisation. Any damages caused by the Exhibitor or his/its contractors to other Exhibitors or common property shall be the responsibility of the Exhibitor. All Exhibitors must complete their construction and decoration by the date and time stipulated by the Exhibition Committee and announced by the Expo 2006 Secretariat.
   
8.  Movement of Exhibits
 
     
  a. Exhibitors shall bear the responsibility and expenses for the transport of exhibits to and from the Exhibition venue.
     
  b. Exhibitors shall make their own arrangement for insurance of goods storage and warehousing of their exhibits inside the Karachi Expo Center. However, the Exhibition Committee or any delegated person/ organisation may provide a common facility for the purpose at the Karachi Expo Centre. Warehousing space under Karachi Expo Center will be provided by Expo Management subject to pre-arrangement in writing latest by thirty (30) working days prior to 29th March 2006.
     
  c. Exhibitors shall be allowed to bring in their exhibits by 23rd March 2006 and after the conclusion of the Exhibition shall remove their exhibits by 4th April 2006.
     
  d. Exhibitors shall remove all exhibits from the Exhibition hall within the period stipulated by the Exhibition Committee and shall indemnify the Exhibition Committee against any loss by reason of the delay or damage to the Exhibition hall.
